The TDP of the chip is rated at 120 Watt and therefore clearly lower than the desktop RX 5700 (150 Watt) but clearly higher than the lower end RX 5500M (85 Watt). It features a new processor design, a multi-level cache hierarchy and an improved rendering pipeline with support for GDDR6 memory. The Navi 10 chip uses the new RDNA (Radeon DNA) microarchitecture which is a successor the the GCN instruction set. The performance is intended to be between the mobile RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 (3DMark 11 GPU score). Like the desktop counterparts, the mobile RX 5700M uses dedicated GDDR6 graphics memory connected with a 256-bit bus. It uses the Navi 10 chip (like the desktop RX 57 XT) and therefore also the RDNA architecture. The RX5700M is a mobile high-end graphics card for laptops.
